What people said about the hotels and their location

Some reviews about the hotels and the locations:

Marquesa Hotel: Wonderful hotel. My husband and I travelled to Key West this past week for a wedding. We were looking for some place relaxing and quiet and we knew that in Key West that would be hard to find. We found the Marquesa reviews and thought that this sounded just like what we were looking for. The previous reviewers told us the truth! The hotel was beautiful, very clean, the staff was friendly, polite and helpful. But probably the best part of the whole stay was the atmosphere. When you come in from the hustle of Duval street to a serene garden and pools and the only sound was waterfalls and palms shifting in the wind. I highly recommend the hotel and this will be the only place we stay on future trips to the island.”

Santa Maria Suites: “I stayed at the Sanata Maria Suites for 6 nights and had a truly fantasic time. This is a good place to stay in Key West. Location was great and walking distance to all the main attractions of Key West. l had a fantastic time at the Santa Maria. This place is a dream.”

Orchid Key Inn: “Beautifully decorated rooms. Good location, right on Duval, although still a bit of a walk to the top end. Staff here were excellent, great local knowledge, gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant across the road. We were travelling around for 7 weeks and this place was our best meal.”

Ocean Key: “We stayed here for our first visit ever to Key West. I would still stay here again and adjust finances accordingly. The rooms are breezy, bright, and comfy. The hotel is ridiculously accessible to the heart of Key West. They park your car for you, show you to your room, and do turn down service every night. Everything is within walking distance. Everything. I loved Ocean.”

Hyatt Key West Resort and Spa: “The views, the room and he service was exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel as a wonderful place to stay while visiting Key West. You can walk to Duval Street, Mallory Square, restaurants, bars and museums. Hotel staffers were very friendly and helpful, making our stay a wonderful one. The views are incredible and the room was clean, large and very comfortable. I will absolutely stay there again!”

Pier House Resort and Spa: “I stayed here for three nights. We are from Australia and were travelling along the east coast of America. Everything about the stay was positive. The location was fantastic, you walk outside and you are at the end of the main street. We loved the private beach and also the Charter bar. The room was fantastic.”

The Reach, A Waldfort Astoria Resort: “Great location and wonderful customer service. My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. Absolutely perfect location, close to everything.”

Almond Tree Inn: “Great location, wonderful accommodations and professional staff. We recently stayed at the Almond Tree Inn which is on Truman Avenue, just around the corner from Duval Street. It was a perfect location. Far enough down Duval to be away from the noise and close enough to walk to everything. The accommodatios at the Almond Tree Inn were luxurious.”

Eden House: “We really enjoyed our visit from the friendly staff, the relaxing hammocks throughout the grounds and the fun and relaxing pool. It was close enough to Duval street to walk yet far enough to be away to be able to relax. I would recommend renting a bike or a car for frequent trips to Duval as it is quite a walk - not necessarily close enough to go back and forth throughout the day. Everyone was very friendly and fun. The atmosphere is definitely one of fun but also respect and relaxation. We would stay at the Eden House again and recommend it to others.”

Southernmost Hotel: “Visited the hotel for Labor Day Weekend. My wife and I have stayed in Key West before, however this hotel was by far the best price and a great location, close to everything. Our room was very clean and appeared to have been recently updated. We'll be back for sure!”

Silver Palms: “Centrally located. Just a 5' walk from Duval street. Makes it very easy to walk out for dinner. If you rent a bicycle you're the king of the island. Friendly and very helpful staff. I'd surely go back again!”

Pegasus International Hotel: “We decided to come to this hotel. Good rates for good rooms with everything you would expect, with a nice pool and everything. The location is just superb. It is right at the heart of the Key West action on the corner of Southard Duval, with everything within walking distance, such as bars, restaurants, beaches and the Hemingway house. Even though the hotel is situated in the middle of the action.”

Key Lime Inn: “Affordable, and walking distance to all of Old Town. The room was very adequate. What was especially nice was that we could park the car in their lot and walk everywhere in the Old Town area. We'd stay there again.”

Crowne Plaza Key West La Concha: We go to this hotel every year for our girls getaway weekend. Rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel is older and historic and the pool is just the right size for the adult clientele. This hotel is in the center of Duval street. It is truly central and is within walking distance to everything you would want to see. Restaurants, bars and attractions are so close you really feel like you are living the Key West lifestyle. The hotel is always spotless and the staff and very friendly. Overall, a great location for a getaway.”

Hyatt Sunset Harbor Resort: “Walking distance to so much and yet tucked away so afternoons at the pool were very relaxed. The food and view were wonderful and the accomodations looked great. Make reservations early if you want to go for sunset.”
